What: The draft Talbot Woods Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan - identifies the key features that make the area historically special and provides clarity on the future management of the area.

When: Public consultation from Monday 18th January until Monday 29th February 2016 (6 weeks)

Where: Details are available from the Council’s website at: www.bournemouth.gov.uk/talbotvillageconservationarea

Please use the online response form available from the web page above or email: heritage@bournemouth.gov.uk by the 29th February 2016.

Background: The Talbot Village Conservation Area lies within the wider Talbot Project area - a five-way partnership between Bournemouth Council, Bournemouth University (BU), Arts University Bournemouth (AUB), Borough of Poole, and Talbot Village Trust (TVT). The wider Talbot Project covers land owned by the partners and seeks a joined up, strategic approach to investment in the area, including to improve the Universities’ environment and setting up of a digital village. The Appraisal and Management Plan will help to inform the Talbot Project.
