Public Health Information

What to do if your child have COVID-19 symptoms:

If your child has a high temperature and feel unwell, they should remain off school until they no longer have a high temperature and feel well enough to return to school.  If your child develops a high temperature during the school day and feels unwell, you will be called to collect your child.

If your child has a cough or change in sense of taste or smell, they are not required to stay off school unless they also have a high temperature or they are too unwell to attend school.

Although most children will not need to take a COVID-19 test, there are some circumstances where a test may be required (e.g. before going in to hospital).  If a child returns a positive COVID-19 test, they should stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days.
