Spirituality

At St Mark’s Church of England Primary School, we strongly believe in the spiritual development of all children and seek to ensure spirituality is woven into daily life through educating the whole child in fullness across broad, rich curriculum opportunities.

Spiritual development is fundamental to the development of the whole child in ensuring they can ‘flourish.’  At St Mark’s C.E. Primary, we are proud to offer a range of opportunities for children to develop their spiritual understanding.  Across a school day, opportunities for spiritual development are both planned and unplanned for, in addition to being exploited spontaneously.  To support with this, at St Mark’s, we use the 'Windows, Mirrors and Doors' concept.
