Consultation on School Admission Arrangements for 2028-2029
From 5 November to 18 December 2026, St Mark's C.E. Primary School is inviting comments on its proposed Admissions Policy and Policy for Admission Outside the Normal Year Group and Delayed Admission for Summer-Born Children for the 2028-2029 academic year.
The final admission arrangements will be published on the school's website by 28 February 2027.
As part of our statutory responsibilities, we are undertaking a consultation on our admission arrangements, which is required at least once every seven years. Following a review of the current arrangements, the Governing Body is not proposing any changes to either policy.
This consultation is therefore being conducted to fulfil the statutory requirement and to provide parents, carers, schools, local authorities and other interested parties with an opportunity to comment on the existing arrangements.

The consultation is being conducted by BCP Council and will run for 6 weeks through November and December 2026. Full details of the proposal, together with information on how to submit comments or representations, can be found on the BCP Council consultation webpage:

We would encourage all interested parties to review the consultation information and share their views directly with BCP Council during the consultation period.
